For the second year running CoMech was a proud sponsor of a prestigious event staged annually at The Roundhouse in Derby.
Dinner at the Roundhouse is an annual prestigious black-tie event and offers a unique opportunity for members of the rail community from all over the UK to get together and enjoy an evening of fundraising, entertainment and great company.
The Roundhouse, now home to Derby College, is a magnificent venue. The building itself is a true example of how the world’s oldest surviving railway turning shed, built in 1839, can be sympathetically restored to its former glory, and now plays host to a number of events every year.
More than 600 guests gathered on 13th October to hear keynote speakers Peter Wilkinson, Managing Director of Passenger Services at the Department for Transport and Laurent Troger, President of Bombardier Transportation, all pulled together by this years host Holly Walsh.
Keith Pallet, Managing Director of CoMech said that this years event was another great success; “Getting the chance to meet so many clients and suppliers under one roof is fantastic, especially when it’s accompanied by a fantastic 3-course dinner and an unforgettable after-party.
“We always like to take our staff along as it is the people who make CoMech such a success and we are always proud to share the experience with them.”
CoMech is an ambitious company and has its roots firmly in the rail sector and also works with other industries offering asset management, calibration and measurement solutions to some of the most prominent companies in the UK.
